Virtual Author Chat - Mercy DeSimone

Virtual Author Chat - Mercy DeSimone Online

Join us for a virtual author chat with NJ Romance Author - Mercy DeSimone.

Mercy DeSimone is the pen name of a champagne drinking, book-loving, music-humming, caffeinista, beauty junkie, fluent in Schoolhouse Rock and useless trivia.

A New Jersey native, Mercy has been known to sneak the names of friends and readers, as well as her cats—Mercy, Simon, Jasper, Daisy, and Rory—into her stories. When not searching out exotic foods, creating eclectic playlists, or swinging in her hammock in the sun, she writes fluffy, feel good, curvy girl books with a bit of angst, and a soft gooey center. She believes that love has no expiration date. And cashmere is a girl’s best friend.

Corsets And Quartets by Mercy DeSimone

Would Jane Austen have swiped left on Mr. Darcy?

At 40, I pressed snooze on my love life. Tired of being the third wheel, curvy girl with the 'pretty face', I was over the online dating scene. It was finally time to focus on what I wanted. It's not like I needed a knight in shining armor, I could take care of myself.

Working retail was a dead end, but I was ready to chase my dream as a romance writer. If I couldn't have my happily ever after, I would damn well write it for every girl who needs hope.

It turns out fate had other ideas when three sexy men gave me more inspiration than I could have asked for. Enter Heath, Mark, and Simon. With them, there's no need to make myself small to fit someone else's ideal of what's sexy and beautiful. My days of feeling bad about myself are over, but only if I’m brave enough to write my own story. Especially if it means finding myself in the process.

Is it possible to find one man to fill all your needs? I’m not so certain anymore. Maybe it’s true - corsets really do need a quartet to thrive.

What would Jane do?
