Virtual Author Chat - Sue Ward Drake

Virtual Author Chat - Sue Ward Drake Online

Join us for a virtual author chat with author, Sue Ward Drake

Award-winning romantic suspense author, Sue Ward Drake, grew up in an old house full of dark windows and deep, scary closets that steered her imagination toward suspense. Her first literary efforts included a short story submitted to a national magazine at the age of eight and an imaginary advice column in her high school newspaper.

After a college year of study in Spain and a stint living in a farmhouse on a Greek island some years later, a location she used in her first romance, HEAR NO EVIL, she returned to New Orleans. There she worked as a Spanish teacher, bi-lingual secretary, and linen supply salesperson before settling into life as a computer analyst for a bank and a local university.

A survivor of the devastating hurricane Katrina, she currently resides in Nevada with her husband of forty-five years. When not writing, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and of course, seeking out new places to explore.

Publishers Weekly, reviewers and readers alike have called her work “sizzling”, “gripping” , “emotional” and “an edge of your seat thrill ride.”

Believing she’ll never marry again because of a hearing loss, artist Molly Light wants a generous commission to buy the art school where she teaches children. Encouraged by the school’s owner and a trusted friend she manages to convince a handsome stranger to choose her for the award.

Scion of a wealthy family, Stefanos Metadorakis has dedicated himself to world peacekeeping. Intent on redeeming himself for a failed mission, he accompanies Molly to Greece to track her movements and prevent her aiding the brutal dictator responsible for his ruined hands.

But Stefanos finds himself falling hard for the woman he needs to hate, and Molly, in turn, with an enigmatic man she can’t trust. When threatening men keep showing up, she believes she’s safest on her own. But will she instead become a pawn in a deadly international conspiracy?
