Kumihimo is in Japanese means braided cord. Come and learn how to make a one of these traditional cords that dates back to traditions during in the Samurai era.

Open to Wayne young adults in 4th grade & up.

Lisa is the Young Adult & Marketing Librarian. She holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, an M.A. in Media Management, and an M.S. in Library Science. Lisa is originally from NYC with an extensive career in art direction for the publishing industry. Over a decade ago, Lisa changed careers to serve in her town's library. Lisa plans and develops all the programs for the teen community. Her passion is to be an inspiration to youths and to provide them with a robust Young Adult collection.
