Wall Art Display by Mitzi Rayner In-Person
September's wall art display is by Mitzi Rayner.
Mitzi Michelle Williams Rayner enjoys capturing the simple things in life through photography. Collections of nature, landscape, and architecture are inspired by the appreciation of God’s handiwork and creativity. In 2007 Simple Things in Life began and since 2017, she has been displaying her photographs at libraries across the tri-state area. During thepandemic, she was able to participate in Virtual Exhibits at two libraries in Bergen County, NJ. Mitzi’s interest was sparked in the early 90’s to take a photography class, which introduced her to several aspects of photography such as how to develop film, night photography, black and white photographs, etc. Today, she still prefers the exquisite detail and distinction of film photography but enjoys the convenience of digital photography. Simple Things in Life collections include custom framed and matted photography, which are available in various sizes. Custom made calendars and greeting cards are also available. Take a glance of the photographer’s photos and it’s like looking through the lens of everyday life. Mitzi Michelle Williams Rayner has a BA in Home Economics/Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University in New Jersey and an MS in Education from Cairn University in Pennsylvania. She is an educator and presently a Director of New City Kids After School Program and Summer Camp in Paterson NJ. She is a resident of New Jersey who simple loves the “Simple Things in Life.”
