THE CLAYHOUSE POTTER - 1988-1995

The Clayhouse pottery operated as a home-based business in North Haledon, NJ. Each piece was hand thrown on a potter’s wheel, bisque fired, hand painted and fired again. Each piece was a unique, one-of-a-kind use-able work of art.

The pottery won numerous awards at local and out of state craft fairs including BEST OF SHOW AT MONTCLAIR CRAFT GUILD AND WATERLOO VILLAGE.

A number of folk-art themes were used to decorate the pieces and the large story bowls were made for collectors.
