Microgreens Workshop for Kids (grades K - 3) In-Person

Join us for a fun and interactive microgreens workshop where kids will learn about the magic of the mighty greens! This engaging session includes a short presentation on how microgreens grow, their benefits, and why they’re so special. Afterwards, each child will get hands-on experience planting their own microgreens to take home and watch grow. A perfect blend of science, nature, and fun!  

Open to Wayne children in kindergarten - 3rd grade.

Bernadette is a Senior Librarian in the Children’s Department.  She has a B.A. in English and a M.S. in Library Science.  She researches and purchases children’s AV and books for the library collection as well as plans and coordinates kids programs.  One of her favorite parts of the job is organizing the summer reading club.  She enjoys working in such a great community and looks forward to helping everyone!
