Elizabeth Scozzari writes unapologetically raw and brutal fiction. Things haven’t been the same since Diana woke up in the middle of the night convinced there was someone in her townhouse. Her boyfriend doesn’t believe her and her best friends are too focused on her fainting spells and senior moments to see that there might be something real lurking in the shadows.
Diana relaxes at her bestie’s party, but it’s not just Fourth of July fireworks that she’s seeing. Instead, the day starts with a missing boyfriend, a bleeding best friend, and the worst hangover of her life. The night is a blur, but her sense of reality only gets worse as the weekend unfolds.
When waking up on her living room floor with a shadowy figure looming over her, Diana realizes she can’t trust anyone but herself if she wants to survive.

Janette is the Assistant Director. She has a B.A. in History and an M.S. in Library Science. Among her many responsibilities, her favorite is selecting and ordering books for the adult fiction, nonfiction and large print collections.
An avid reader, Janette runs the Romantic Fiction (first Wednesday of the month) and the Page Turners (second Wednesday of the month) book groups. She is also a supporter of the romance genre and will gladly help "match you" with the perfect romance novel.
In 2021, Janette launched a Virtual Author Chat series where she chats with local authors about their writing and their path to publication. All of the chats have been recorded and are available to watch on the library's YouTube channel. In 2025, Janette established a writers' circle at the library. Pen to Paper at Wayne PL meets on the third Saturday of each month. In concert with the writers' circle, Janette also organizes monthly writing workshops which are led by local published authors.
