The All Wayne String Orchestra looks forward to warming your heart with festive winter &  holiday music! 

Students in our ensemble come from all of Wayne Township’s middle and high schools, meeting for rehearsals weekly to further their passion for string music. Shaped by diverse interests and culture, music moves beyond sound. Through performance we strive to develop character and understanding of people and culture. For this reason we greatly value this opportunity to let music be the instrument for creating, sharing, and engaging our community. 

All Wayne Strings is led by Mr. Aron Topielski, director of instrumental music at Packanack and JFK School Elementary Schools, and the After-School Strings Program in Wayne Township. A life-long string advocate, Aron is equally comfortable performing classical, jazz, rock and dance music. Prior to becoming an educator, Aron pursued a Ph.D. in music theory at the University of Chicago.

The M.A.R.S. Trio is a newly formed ensemble that began through serendipity when members Aron Topielski, Ron Gardner, and Mackenzie Miller began meeting for casual music-making. Soon, a spirit of collaboration, and a vision emerged: to share our excitement for strings through community outreach, and to mentor the next generation of musicians. 

Ron Gardner is a consummate musician with a strong background in Jazz and Classical, currently director of Band & Chorus at Ryerson and JFK Elementary School, Wayne Schools. Ron also is cello/bass instructor at the Wharton Arts Paterson Music Project. 

MacKenzie Miller is a multi-instrumentalist who plays viola and oboe. She is director of Symphonic Band, String Orchestra, and Percussion Ensemble at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, NJ. Before taking a position at Hunterdon, she was Assistant Band Director at Wayne Valley HS.
