Arkham Horror Game Night In-Person
"... [A] dark shadow grows in the city of Arkham. Alien entities known as Ancient Ones lurk in the emptiness beyond space and time, writhing at the thresholds between worlds. Occult rituals must be stopped and alien creatures destroyed before the Ancient Ones make our world their ruined dominion.
Only a handful of investigators stand against the horror. Will they prevail?" —Excerpted from the publisher's website.
Step into the shadowed streets of Arkham, where strange cults and alien horrors lurk just beyond sight. In Arkham Horror, a cooperative board game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, players take on the roles of investigators working together to uncover mysteries, battle monsters, and seal dimensional gates before the Ancient Ones awaken.
This event will take place on Thursday, October 30th starting at 4:00pm in the ESL Room. A host will introduce the game, explain the rules, and be available for questions throughout play—though they will not participate in the game as they're needed elsewhere in time and space. No prior experience is required—rules will be explained, and beginners are welcome. Whether you’re new to Arkham Horror or a seasoned investigator, this is a great opportunity to experience one of the most immersive cooperative games ever created in a friendly, supportive setting.
This event is intended for ages 14 and older. Players are welcome to bring their own snacks; they will be responsible for maintaining a clean game environment. Please note: depending on the edition, scenario or Ancient One selected, and the roll of the dice, gameplay may last 2-3 hours.
