Teen Writing Club In-Person

Do you enjoy writing? Come, collaborate and have fun making new connections through writing and sharing stories.

Open to Wayne young adults in 5th grade & up.

What can you expect? The Teen Writing Club is a place where young writers can come to share their works with their peers. Our teens read samples of their works and give constructive criticism and feed back to each other so they can improve their skills.

Attending the Teen Writing Club can count towards volunteer hours.

We also offer writing prompts to help provide inspiration. Please write something based on the prompt to bring to the meeting along with any of your own work you would like to share!

February Writing Prompt: A scenario where your character/characters get snowed in.

Writing prompts are meant as icebreakers and inspiration for our young writers. They can be as short as a paragraph or as long as a novel.
