SUMMARY:High Mountain Meadow Poetry Series
DESCRIPTION:The group features two poets and includes an Open Mic. Hosted 
 by Paul Nash & Denise LaNeve\, representing the North Jersey Literary 
 Community and the Poets of the Palisades. This event is free and all are 
 welcome!\n\nFeatured Poets:\n\nPeter Dabbene's poetry and stories have been 
 published in dozens of online and print literary journals. He has published 
 the poetry collections The Lotus Eater (and Other Poems)\, Optimism\, the 
 graphic novels Ark\, Robin Hood\, and George Washington: Father of a 
 Nation\, the story collections Prime Movements and Glossolalia\, and a 
 novel\, Mister Dreyfus' Demons.  \n\n\n\nAbout The Lotus Eater (and Other 
 Poems) has been reviewed in the following words:\n\n“Very few poets make 
 a lasting impression\, so when we find one that grabs our attention and 
 demands to be read\, we hold on. Tightly. For me\, Peter Dabbene is one of 
 those rarities.” (Patricia Gomes\, author and Poet Laureate\, New Bedford 
 Massachusetts\,  2014-2021)\n\nOther recent works include the Spamming the 
 Spammers trilogy and Complex Simplicity\, a collection of essays. His 
 website is www.peterdabbene.com \n\nMark Fogarty is a poet\, musician and 
 journalist from Rutherford\, NJ. He is a former editor of the Rutherford 
 Red Wheelbarrow and has had more than 150 poems published in magazines like 
 Hawaii Review\, Paterson Literary Review\, Lips and Exit 13 and has 
 appeared at poetry readings in New York\, New Jersey. Ohio and Minnesota. 
 He is the author of eight volumes of poetry\, all from White Chickens 
 Press: Myshkin's Blues\, Peninsula\, Phantom Engineer\, Eye of the Circle\, 
 Continuum: The Jaco Poems\, The Tall Women's Dance\, Sun Nets and 
 Fourteens.
