SUMMARY:High Mountain Meadow Poetry Series
DESCRIPTION:The group features two poets and includes an Open Mic. Hosted
by Paul Nash & Denise LaNeve\, representing the North Jersey Literary
Community and the Poets of the Palisades. This event is free and all are
welcome!\n\nSalvatore Roseo\, Jersey Shore Poet\, travels around New Jersey
and elsewhere spouting spoken word like its gospel. His poems have appeared
 in a number of publications such as: The Red Wheelbarrow\; By The WAYE\;
Big Hammer\; and Soup Can Magazine to name a few. Sal was twice a top-ten
finalist for Eastern Shore Writer’s Annual Crossroads Poetry & Micro
Fiction Contest. He was also a finalist and subsequently a judge for the
Poetry Super Highway Annual Poetry Contest. \n\nA working-class fan-boy for
most of his life\, Sal still self-nurtures on dangerous doses of comic
books\, mythology\, sci-fi\, poetry\, and obscure but heavy music. He
resides with his family near Matawan\, New Jersey\, where sharks seldom
stalk creeks... \n\nJ.T. Trigonis (he/him) is a neon troubadour of the
written word. With the obligatory MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College and
the ever more obligatory Pushcart prize nomination\, his work has appeared
in nearly 60 journals that have graced the bottom shelf of book stands (and
online\, too) for nearly 30 years. He’s headlined at over 30 venues\, and
he’s the author of seven self-published chapbooks. His most recent
chapbook of selected poems\, Through the Wreckage\, was released in 2026 by
Finishing Line Press. Trigonis plays master of ceremonies at WAYE (We
Appreciate Your Enthusiasm)\, the popular monthly reading series he and his
partner host at their vintage shop/used bookstore in Jersey City Heights\,
and he’s the editorial director of By the WAYE\, a magazine of poetry and
 visual art.
